Greenwood Park, Penfield

This was a quick stop, because I'm already quite familar with the park, since I drive by it several times a week. I've played tennis on its tennis courts, and maybe even climbed on its playground.

Greenwood Park is located at the corner of Embury and Scribner Roads in Penfield. It’s 21 acres, mostly open space, with a softball field, basketball court, tennis courts, a playground and lots of open space. In the summer, sports leagues will hold their games and practices there, and it’s a great big, open field for flying kites. In the winter, it’s nice and flat for cross country skiing.
